Delightfully Dolores-Thanksgiving Edition

Hello everyone! I have another edition of Delightfully Dolores for you today. You are going to love the quick and cute project she made this month!

Over to you, Dolores.

Turkey Day is coming!  Happy Thanksgiving to you all. This month my project is for the Thanksgiving table - place cards and napkin rings. The place cards feature Riley Pilgrim and Sophie Pilgrim. Both were colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. The leaves are Tim Holtz Sizzix dies and the ovals are from Poppy Stamps, the Emory Oval Frame and the Oval Frame background.

The napkin ring is made from a t.p. roll. With all the kitchen gadgets I have you would think I could find a napkin ring. We use what we have in a pinch.  I used a 12 inch strip of paper scored every half inch and accordion folded for the base "turkey feathers". The stamp is Funny Bones Single Turkey, colored with Copic markers and die cut with Spellbinders Circles.  The leaves are the same as the place cards.

These didn't take long to make and they add a festive touch to your table. Hope I've inspired you to make one or both for your Thanksgiving table. -D

How stinkin' cute are those? Now if only I could get an invite for Thanksgiving dinner.....hehe

Designer Highlight-Angji Pruente

Hello everyone! It's time for another edition of Designer Highlight and the featured designer is yours truly!

I have been crafting for almost a decade now. It all started when a friend who scrapbooked convinced me to make Christmas cards one year. After that, I jumped head first into this hobby and haven't looked back since! I started working for Riley and Company a few years ago when they had a brick and mortar store and really enjoyed it. When Tanya (aka Head Moose) asked me to be her Design Team coordinator, I jumped at the chance! The rest, as they say, is history.

For my project today I made a Halloween themed vignette from a lantern kit by The Gentleman Crafter, Jim Hankins. I had so much fun decorating and setting the scene that I had to force myself to stop! I hope you enjoy my project as much I as enjoyed making it!

Here are a few of my favorite recent projects

Smiling Burt and I put the PRO in procrastinate (retired)

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope my projects have inspired you to make some time to visit your craft room and get snarky with Riley & Company! Be sure to follow us on Facebook!

See you tomorrow with another edition of Delightfully Dolores!
