Delightfully Dolores-Riley on the Farm

Hello everyone! Today is the start of our monthly series featuring the work of Dolores S. Dolores has worked for Riley and Company and the brick and mortar store (now closed) for 10 years! Dolores is the reason why Funny Bones exist. I bet you didn't know that, huh? Dolores does fantastic work and I can't wait to share her projects with you. For her first project, she took Riley down to the farm and it couldn't be any cuter! Check it out:

Here is Dolores' process in her own words:

"I used a precut side accordion card. The Our Daily Bread "Grass Border" was used to cut several layers of grass in colors of greens and golds. The stamps used are Riley and Company "Tractor", stamped the original way and then stamped in reverse, and "Farmers Riley & Sophie". Copic markers were used for coloring. The stamped images were cut out by hand. The sunflowers were cut from patterned paper. A strip of ribbon was used on the front to cover up raw edges. The grass layers were popped up, as was the Farmer stamp.

The Riley and Company "Wheat" stamp would also work on this card."

I am huge fan of Dolores' work. Look at all of the detail she puts into her work! I don't know about your but I'm sure inspired to look at my Riley stash with new eyes!

See you next week!
